Heron Point Golf Club ran a promotion from November 17th – November 23rd to give free tickets to the BIG Football Game. The promotion was run through the East Coast Golf Group Platinum Card. Each Platinum member that played that week automatically was entered into the drawing for absolutely FREE!! There were 4 tickets available and we randomly drew two winners that each received 2 tickets to the Pigskin Classic!! Heron Point Golf Club would like to thank all of the Platinum Members who played that week and for your continued support of our club. CONGRATULATIONS to Mr. John Nolan and Mr. Gary McDaniel as they were the lucky winners!! We hope that you had a blast at the game!!

Ramon Sessions Golf Tournament HUGE Success!

Heron Point Golf Club has partnered with Myrtle Beach native and NBA star Ramon Sessions of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Ramon Sessions has named Heron Point as his “home course” when he is in the Grand Strand area. Together we have started an annual golf tournament to benefit the Myrtle Beach High School Athletic Department. The first annual tournament was held at Heron Point Golf Club on July 16th 2011, and was a huge success. We had lots of prizes to give away including custom made trophies autographed by Ramon Sessions and a Grand Prize consisting of 4 free tickets to watch Ramon in action against the Charlotte Bobcats. The Grand Prize which was randomly drawn was awarded to the team of Craig Kenley who was super excited!! Food was provided on the course throughout the day by T-Bonz, Hooters and The Tilted Kilt. We were also able to raise a generous amount of money for the Myrtle Beach High School which will be used to enhance their Athletic Department. Heron Point Golf Club as well as Ramon Sessions would like to send a special thanks to all of the sponsors for donating their time and money to support such a great cause in our community. We would also like to extend a special thanks to Myrtle Beach High School as well as WMBF News for their coverage of the tournament. Check back for registration forms for the second annual tournament which will be bigger and better!!
